On Saturday 15th July 2024, some of our team will be taking on a fun but challenging climb to raise money for local charity Barnsley Hospice.
Matthew Barron, Leah Oliver, Lorna Melville and Deborah Crawshaw have signed up to climb the 1085m to the summit, setting off late afternoon, enjoying the sunset view from the top with a star-lit descent.
We aim to raise a minimum of £200 per person (a £800 target to start with!) for an amazing cause. Being based in Barnsley, most of our staff have experienced first hand the care and compassion the Hospice show to their patients. The walk will raise much needed funds to allow them to continue their fantastic work for others to benefit from and is a great way for us to remember our loved ones they’ve helped in the past.
We will be personally remembering Kellee Harvey, Janet Carbutt-Laing, Geoffrey Barron, Sheila Barron and Diane Steel.
